Rejuvenation Package

This package is designed to relax and vitalize the body. In addition to medical steam baths, herbal medicine and soothing face masks, it also includes two highlights of Ayurvedic treatment: full-body massages (Abhyanga) and pouring of warm liquids onto the forehead (Shirodhara). Their base are warm herbal oils, which are mixed according to centuries-old recipes.

We live in a fast-paced time. Tranquility? A foreign word for most people. The search for new ways to leave everyday stress behind and find peace and quiet should therefore always begin with two questions: “Who am I? How should my life be? Our guests will find the answer in yoga and meditation.

ONE OF OUR MOST IMPORTANT GOALS IS THE INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT OF EACH GUEST. NEVERTHELESS, THERE ARE PROCEDURES DURING THE TREATMENT THAT ARE THE SAME FOR EVERYONE. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO THE REJUVENATION PACKAGE.

The first day: The day of your arrival begins with an initial consultation and a comprehensive examination by an experienced Ayurveda doctor. In an extensive questionnaire, you provide him with additional information on whether you sleep well, for example, or whether you are happy or a believer. Your doctor uses examination and your answers to determine your bioenergies (doshas). This determination is the basis for your therapy and diet plan.

Provided your doctor approves, your first day in Somatheeram will end with a soothing full-body massage. It is performed synchronously by two therapists. For the first time you will experience the exotic smell of your oil, which has been specially produced for you according to the doctor’s instructions and can contain up to 50 different ingredients.

The treatment plan: Until the end of your package your treatment plan provides you with orientation. It is a – mostly – pleasurable journey in which you give your body back the strength it has lost. After the treatment we recommend to rest some time so that the effect of the treatment can fully unfold.

The daily consultation with the doctor is also part of the treatment schedule. In this way, our experts can ensure that you respond to the treatments and that your treatment is successful.

The relaxation exercises: Yoga, meditation and relaxation exercises for beginners and advanced practitioners are part of your treatment plan. They also make a significant contribution to ensuring that you return home well rested

The diet plan: Your Ayurveda package also includes an individual diet. As part of the initial examination, our doctors will put together a personal ayurvedic diet plan for you – according to the individual doshas. Various types of fruit, freshly squeezed juices, exotic spices: All this promises a varied and tasty diet. However, our restaurant with its impressive sea view is more than just a place where you can enjoy our food, it is also a center of good communication: people from all over the world come together here. Sometimes this also leads to the formation of true friendships that extend beyond the stay in Somatheeram.

The surroundings: Somatheeram is situated on a movie-like beach: you look out over palm trees and a blue-green sea; feel the warm sand under your feet and take a deep breath. Enjoy the sea and the beach with all your senses.

The last day: A final comprehensive consultation ends your stay at the resort. Your doctor will determine the success of the treatment, discuss the most important results with you and will give you advice on how to integrate the requirements of your Ayurveda package into your daily life. Your personal final report, which you can take home with you, summarizes all the results.
